An incredible week of high-performance rugby in Hungary

UXi Sport was honoured to be a partner in a world-class coaching camp delivered in collaboration with the Hungary Rugby Union / Magyar Rögbi Szövetség, supporting the continued growth of the National Women’s 7s programme. Under the leadership of Anton Moolman, National Rugby Director of UXi Sport, in collaboration with Richard De Jager and RDJ Sports Development Ltd, an experienced international coaching team delivered a high-performance environment focused on long-term alignment and elite player development.

The standard of talent on display was exceptional, the facilities were top class, and the hospitality from our Hungarian hosts was truly world class. From 3–7 December, the squad was pushed technically, tactically, and physically — laying a strong foundation for future success as part of the V36 Olympic Project, aimed at preparing the team for the Rugby Europe Championships and Olympic qualification.

This camp marks the beginning of an exciting journey, with further high-performance camps and international competition planned across Europe and the UK over the coming months. We’re especially proud to be strengthening pathways for women’s rugby, including future links into the UXi Leicester Tigers International Women’s Institute, launching in August 2026.
